Reiki (pronounced Ray-Key) is the Japanese word meaning Universal Life Force.
Energy (the energy present in all things) is channelled through the hands of the healer and applied to the client’s body for healing. This is a natural healing method.
There are many forms of this treatment in other cultures and religions. It was originally developed by a Japanese Buddhist monk in 1922. In China it is known as Chi, the Hindus call it Prana. In Christianity, it is ‘healing hands’.
